regardless how i show it
i think about you all the time
and wish you were how im spending mine
theres so much to a moment
its hard not to get distracted

i never just go for a ride
cuz i dont know how to drive
i miss the days i could breath
the "head out the window" speed

this movement
makes me carsick
wake me up

who's the evil mastermind
responsible for and behind all this?
this whole big mess

my best friend dom moved away from me
to the opposite side of the country
it feels like ancient history
now im always lost

wish i was faking sick in a racecar bed
all i had to stress about was phys ed
probably makin use of my thumbs instead
pushing the scary thoughts straight outta my head
and just for a day
have it all go away

you knew me chillin back seat, at best
maybe lookin like im all outta breath
right towards the corner store
these past few years,
been some rough ones for sure
tryna make my way back down to earth
but now im so far out

its late and its calm
and i miss my mom
for my feet, the ground
was all they found

how do you ask questions like
"do you ever miss me at night?" or
"howre ya smilin now?"
it was just another shot that you missed
getting laughed at by an angel
that ditched ya for
a minor chord

ive said it before
and ill say it again
im bored and need support
i know
it felt like getting high
for the first couple times
but the more that times goes by
it scares the shit outta me
if you were here
i know youd comment on the stars
and how theyre not this clear
from where you typically are
but i still hope you know
no matter where you go
even if they dont show
yr never really alone
